About the role
We are thrilled to announce that we are looking for a Sales Representative to join our team based in the Seville region. This role is responsible for supporting customer Commercial and Technical Services requirements, with a strong emphasis on Product Stewardship, delivering measurable value to customers, and ensuring sustainable revenue for Orica.
What you will be doing
As the Sales Representative, you will support customer needs and business development opportunities, manage product and service implementation projects, and promote site safety across Southern Spain. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining customer technical relationships
- Identifying customer needs and business development opportunities
- Analyzing blast measurements and assessing performance against a baseline
- Preparing differentiated product and service offerings
- Managing product and service implementation projects
- Developing case studies and providing product application stewardship
- Traveling up to 75% of the time within Spain, mostly in the Andalucía region
What you will bring
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in the mineral resources industry, preferably across multiple sites and commodities
- BSc in Mining Engineering or a related field (MSc preferred)
- Driver's license
- Well-developed understanding of quarries and mining processes and key drivers
- Competent with general drill and blast designs
- Competent in pre and post blast measurement and assessment techniques
- Great communication skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience in CAPEX and project management
- Ability to build trust both internally and externally
