Currently, we are looking for a Managing Director for our Spain location.
The role will require overseeing day-to-day sales and business development activities within the designated location to ensure operational effectiveness and alignment with the global corporate strategy.


Tasks and responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s business development strategies to attain local goals.

• Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and local market development activities.

• Act as the public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile.

• Actively interact with partners and local regulatory authorities, evangelizing CEX.IO products and services to ensure in-market networking.

• Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.

Essential requirements

• A strong understanding of the Spanish market (Fin Tech and Crypto).

• Knowledge and experience in a pre-scale Fin Tech is an advantage.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with local regulatory authorities.

• General knowledge of global compliance rules and processes.
• Previous experience in the role of Compliance Officer/MLRO would be an advantage.

• 
  Proven ability to quickly learn a new technology product.

• Fluent in spoken and written Spanish; English is a must; additional language is a plus.
