We’re looking for a Freelance Event Manager to support us in Spain—preferably based in or near Barcelona or Madrid, as many of our partner locations are nearby.

We’re looking for a Freelance Event Manager to support us in Spain—preferably based in or near Barcelona or Madrid, as many of our partner locations are nearby.
What We’re Looking For
- You love planning and organizing, and you’re a naturally structured and reliable person.
- You’re excited to bring people together and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- You’re independent and can confidently make decisions.
- You handle stressful situations with a calm and proactive attitude and enjoy solving problems creatively and efficiently.
- You have some experience in event management or the tourism industry and you want to learn and grow.
- You’re fluent in English and Spanish
- You’re based in Spain and able to commute to Barcelona or Madrid when needed.
- Plan and coordinate retreats in stunning Spanish locations.
- Maintain regular communication with the Campfire Company team and other event managers.
- Coordinate with location staff and external partners to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Support or host retreats when needed.
- Oversee the execution of events and team-building activities.
- A motivated and international team excited to welcome you onboard.
- The opportunity to interact with successful startups and dynamic teams.
- A hybrid contract based job: work remotely while occasionally enjoying beautiful natural venues.
Our selection process includes:
- A brief online interview to get to know you.
- An in-person meeting in mid-January, when a representative from our team will be in Spain.
