Job Description

Eosol Group is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team for an upcoming wind project located on Kouga. This project, scheduled from January to December 2025, presents an exciting opportunity for dedicated individuals who thrive in a dynamic work environment.


As a Forklift Driver at Eosol Group, your primary responsibility will be to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, locate, and store materials throughout the construction site. Your expertise will significantly contribute to the advancement of our wind project, playing a vital role in the green energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to facilitate the transport of materials on the construction site.
• Load, unload, and stack materials according to required specifications, ensuring that safety and quality standards are maintained.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate the logistics of material handling and construction processes.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company protocols to promote a safe working environment.
• Document and report any incidents or near misses promptly to site management.
• Assist with inventory control processes, ensuring accurate tracking of materials and supplies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a construction or industrial setting.
• Valid forklift operator certification or license, as per local regulations.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations related to forklift operation.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine maintenance on forklift equipment is a plus.
• Excellent spatial awareness and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in renewable energy projects or construction of similar scale.
• Familiarity with site-specific safety protocols, such as OSHA or similar regulations.
• Proven track record of reliability and commitment to safety and quality.
