Senior Human Resources Business Partner

The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, aligning HR strategies with business objectives, and managing recruitment activities for Singapore region. This role will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership while also managing day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices and regulations, including a strong focus on talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations on HR matters, including talent management, organizational design, and workforce planning.
- Drive the alignment of HR initiatives with business goals to enhance organizational performance.
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
- Lead the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction and retention of high-quality talent.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and other talent sources.
- Implement effective onboarding processes to integrate new hires successfully into the organization.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster a positive and engaging work environment through effective communication and employee relations practices.
- Responsible for managing weekly happy hour to include engagement activities
- Manage employee grievances and provide appropriate resolutions in line with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and company policies.
Performance Management:
- Oversee and manage performance management systems to ensure employees' performance aligns with organizational goals.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related issues.
- Identify and develop high-potential employees to build a robust leadership pipeline.
Learning and Development:
- Identify training and development needs and create programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Manage employee development initiatives and succession planning processes.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Responsible for preparing and processing monthly payroll
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and salary reviews to maintain market competitiveness.
HR Programs and Projects:
- Lead and manage HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, and organizational development efforts.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to provide actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with global HR teams to implement corporate HR programs and initiatives in the local context.
Change Management:
- Support organizational change initiatives, providing guidance on the people-related aspects of change management.
- Facilitate effective communication and engagement strategies to ensure smooth transitions during periods of change.

Required Skills and Experience
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or HR Business Partner role.
- Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Experience in a multinational company is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore labor laws and regulations.
Skills & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent relevant professional experience.

HR certification (IHRP-CP, SHRM-CP, CIPD) is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Experience with managing monthly payroll processing and reporting via 3rd party payroll processor. ADP experience is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR issues and drive HR initiatives that support business goals.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis tools. Bamboo HR experience is a plus.
Special Requirements
- Able and willing to work in office 5 days per week (occasional remote work is acceptable)
- Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environment
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Able and willing to participate in regular weekly call outside of regular work hours
