General Summary:

• Responsible for costing and inventory month end closing activities and report.
  
• Work with various team for physical inventory checks and monitor cycle count and reconciliations items.
  
• Compute and analyze transfer pricing for intercompany transactions.
  
• Monitoring of scrap disposal and stock adjustment forms to ensure no wastage in material & resources.
  
• Prepares and performs assessment on Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory analysis report, review and monitors the E&O inventory provision.
  
• Material maintenance and analysis
  
• Ad hoc projects in relation to process improvement of inventory management workflow.
  
• Involves in SOX and internal control topics, liaise with external auditor for SOX compliance
  
• Ad hoc task.
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.

• Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Accountancy or professional qualifications
  
• Relevant experience in cost accounting and inventory management in manufacturing industry
  

Other skills/abilities/knowledge:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office skills and SAP knowledge
  
• Good technical knowledge in accounting standards (USGAAP and FRS)
  
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Self-driven with good business acumen
  
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadline.
  
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skill.
