Senior Accountant/Accountant


Job Descriptions:

• Responsible for the full sets of financial statements for the holding and subsidiary companies

• Ensure timely monthly closing and financial reports and schedules the financial statements are prepared accurately and timely

• Review the work of the supporting team on daily accounting and finance duties including AR, AP processes, GL, tax, and bank reconciliation

• Prepare annual budget and ad-hoc forecast

• Liaise with external auditors on audit/accounting issues as well as ensure that the companies meet and comply with all accounting, tax, legislative and regulative requirement

• Liaise with the banks on treasury matters and prepare monthly bank reconciliation

• Monitor cash flow movements closely and make payments promptly

• Liaise with the auditors to ensure timely completion of audit and preparation of audited financial statements

• Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities and finance policies

• Present relevant information to Management, Financial Controller and Department Heads for their information and decision-making

• Ensure effective management and internal controls are in place

• Any other assignments or duties assigned
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum a Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent certification

• Minimum 3 years working experience

• Proactive, exercise flexibility, able to multi-task and work independently

• Possess strong analytical skills, meticulous with high level of integrity

• Enjoy working with people and thrive in team environment in a fast paced environment

• Strong team player and able to work independently

• Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)

• Flexible, an inquisitive mind and keen to learn and pick up new finance work

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point

• Hands-on experience with accounting and reporting system will be an advantage
