Resident Technical Officer (RTO) - M&E
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- To provide quality and compliance supervision for the construction of Mechanical, Electrical, Sanitary and Plumbing works in accordance with the Project specifications, drawings,applicable and relevant Singapore standards/codes and Building Control Acts and Regulations
- As and when instructed by the Qualified Person (QP), the Amp Project Manager (PM), or Resident Engineer (RE) assist them to approve any valid overtime requisitions from the Contractor and to assist in the supervision of the works.
- To assist the QP and PM in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project, keeping and reviewing record of works, materials, equipment at site, monitoring Contractor's schedules, observe and comply with site safety, and submitting all reports
- To provide full support and assistance to the QP, PM or RE in ensuring that their instructions are communicated effectively and works are being carried out in accordance with instructions from time to time.
- To assist the PM in preparing a monthly valuation of the M&E work constructed.
- To assist the PM to prepare site instruction to the contractor as well as list of defect of any completed works.
- To ensure that the items in the defect lists are rectified when required and carry out such further inspections as necessary to ensure that the work is completed
- To perform other duties as instructed by the RE
- To attend daily toolbox meetings, and Contractor’s technical and progress meetings
