Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join the renewable energy industry. The successful candidate will be part of the Project Execution team, based in our Singapore Office. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will drive technical leadership and direction to a team of Software Engineers, ensuring the development and delivery of large and complex systems. You will collaborate with Solution and Technical Architects, Software Engineers, Test Engineers, Dev Ops Engineers, and Product Managers to achieve desired product outcomes. Additionally, you will be the liaison engineer for key accounts in Singapore, providing engagement and support for software-related issues.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of Software Engineers
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the product lifecycle
Drive good engineering practices such as code reviews and unit testing
Champion an "Automation first" mentality in development activities
Utilize appropriate software development methods, languages, and techniques
Independently propose viable technical solutions through research
Produce and validate cost estimates and delivery schedules
Demonstrate maturity in team collaboration and stakeholder engagement
Stay updated with new technologies and industry best practices
Ensure consistency with defined standards and high quality delivery
Coach and guide junior engineers in best practices and tools

Qualifications And Experienc

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Proven experience in software development and leadership roles
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
Proficiency in programming languages and software engineering concepts
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
