Slash has headquarters in Singapore and community-oriented R&D hubs in Phnom Penh, Yerevan, Bali, Yogyakarta, Jakarta and Bandung. We are a team of 50+ entrepreneurs, engineers, hackers, and full-stack developers with unique capabilities in web, mobile, AI, and Blockchain.

Role and responsibilities, and how will the role impact Slash?

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong proficiency in React.js and PHP to build highly scalable, efficient, and secure applications for enterprise-grade systems.

You will be a thought leader in the company:

• Driving frontend and backend development stacks best case practices, processes and standards throughout the company.
  


• Supporting solution architects, scrum masters, and development teams with delivering enterprise-grade backend systems to clients.
  


• We will rely on your technical leadership and ingenuity to stay up to date on the latest in frontend and backend development stacks, system integration, security, APIs, middlewares, cloud, Dev Ops.
  


• Develop and maintain front-end components using React.js and design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient back-end solutions using a Symphony framework (PHP)
  


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  

Requirements

How do you know if you are a good fit?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  


• Positive attitude, independence, inner drive to become successful
  


• Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to talk to international clients
  


• Tech savvy (up to date with the latest trends)
  


• Proactive, confident, doesn’t shy away from responsibility, takes full ownership
  


• Ability to coordinate and communicate with diverse teams and individuals (e.g solution architects, product managers, scrum masters, developers, customer service, and clients)
  


• Minimum of 6 years of experience as full stack developer.
  


• Minimum 4 years in PHP backend development. Experience with Symfony Framework experience is a major advantage.
  


• Minimum 4 years in JS stack, including at least 2 in React.js for front-end development.
  


• Experience on Next JS is a good plus.
  


• Advanced knowledge of using AWS cloud on configuration, deployment, CI/CD, and Lambda is a good plus.
  


• Hands-on experience with containerization technology such as Docker.
  


• Ability to build scalable, testable and maintainable applications applying good engineering practices such as Clean Code, Clean Architecture, Design Pattern, testing automation,...
  


• Good architecture design experience: Microservice, Domain design, Event-Driven experience…
  


• Have a knowledge of drawing system architecture, sequence flow diagram
  


• Keen interest in learning about other technologies (such as Next JS, Rabbit MQ, Express JS, Mongo DB, Serverless, Machine Learning, Blockchain, etc)
  


• Ability to understand different business models and applications is a bonus
