Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the company's long-term strategy for growth and profitability in the automotive sector. Identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities to drive business success.
- Business Development: Lead efforts to expand our automotive business through new market penetration, strategic partnerships, and customer acquisition. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders including OEMs, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of the automotive business unit, including manufacturing operations, supply chain management, quality control, and logistics. Ensure alignment with company goals, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in automotive products and services. Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of the automotive business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization. Drive initiatives to improve profitability, efficiency, and cash flow.
- Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing team of professionals, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to achieve individual and collective goals. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and industry norms pertaining to automotive manufacturing, safety, and environmental sustainability. Mitigate risks and address issues proactively to safeguard the company's reputation and integrity.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in executive leadership roles within the automotive industry, with a demonstrated track record of success.
- Deep understanding of automotive market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Strong strategic planning and business development skills, with a proven ability to drive growth and profitability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Solid financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, P&L statements, and financial performance metrics.
- Exceptional leadership qualities, including vision, decisiveness, and integrity.
