About Role

We are seeking an experienced System Security Engineer / Cybersecurity Engineer to join the team that creates new complex solutions for government clients from the Middle East.

Your impact

• Design and implement security measures to protect systems and networks from cyber threat
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify security gaps
• Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents, including malware infections and breaches.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system configurations
• Implement and manage security tools (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.)
• Conduct security training and awareness programs for staff
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and industry best practices
• Perform regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security standards

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has

• 5+ years of experience as a System Security Engineer or Cybersecurity Engineer
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, tools, and technologies
• Experience with risk management and vulnerability assessment methodologies
• Proficiency in security incident response and investigation
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, Comp TIA Security+) are a plus
• Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
