JOB TITLE: Manager of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment
DESCRIPTION OF BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Environmental Health and Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental programs within an organization. play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe and healthy work environment for employees.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Supervising the implementation and application of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System ISO 45001 and the Environmental Management System ISO 14001, applied within the company’s integrated management system.
- Develop and implement health, safety and environment plans in the workplace.
- Preparing policies aimed at providing employees with a culture of health, safety and environment and providing a safe work environment.
- Evaluate all measures taken to assess the risks expected to occur.
- Review the policies and procedures currently applied in the company to ensure they are updated.
- Organizing training courses in the field of occupational safety, health and environment to raise awareness and train all employees.
- Develop plans to implement health, safety and environmental laws in the company based on what the laws stipulate.
- Preparing plans to deal with emergencies and crises.
- Inspecting and inspecting tools and equipment to diagnose defects and unsafe malfunctions.
- Regularly inspect and inspect workplaces.
- Monitoring the safe disposal of waste to ensure that the environment is not polluted.
- Investigate accidents and emergency situations and determine their causes so that they can be avoided in the future.
- Follow up on cases of non-conformity and take the necessary corrective and preventive measures.
- Periodic inspection of safety procedures, safety exits, and fire extinguishing in the workplace.
- Ensure that all company employees adhere to occupational health, safety and environmental laws, standards and procedures.
- Ensure that all workers wear protective methods and safety tools.
- Ensure the integrity of safety tools and equipment before starting work.
- Training new workers on the basics of occupational safety and health.
- Represents the company in attending occupational safety, health, and environmental protection meetings with the competent authorities.
- Submitting proposals regarding the corrective actions that must be taken to address deficiencies in the field of occupational safety, health, and environmental protection.
- Upgrading the basic requirements that must be met for the health, safety and environment system.
- Preparing monthly reports for senior management
- Working in one of the company’s branches inside Saudi Arabia
- Performs other work assigned to him in his field of specialization.

· Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following specializations:
- Chemical Engineering / Environmental Sciences / Human Health / Safety Management
- Diploma in occupational safety and health or environmental health sciences/safety and environmental management.
- Proficiency in the English language.
· Required experience and conditions:
- Age 30 - 40
- Applied practical experience of not less than 5 years in a petrochemical company or in a logistics company.
- Good knowledge of quality systems, especially the Occupational Safety and Health Management System ISO 45001 , the Environmental Management System ISO 14001 and Quality Management System ISO 9001
- Excellent knowledge of OSHA standards and international safety legislation.
- Excellent knowledge of SQAS standards and working to achieve them.
- Expertise in Logistics field and cargo handling
- Expertise in HSE management, achieving significant incident
- Proven track record in managing construction projects with zero accidents.
- Developed safety training programs and risk assessment frameworks.
