Commercial Contract Engineer

We Elevate ..... Your Responsibilities:

• Managing and administrating contracts and ensure that all notices are issued on time.
• Provide all necessary contractual support and exercise all due professional expertise & judgment on all contractual and commercial issues during the running of NI or MOD contracts, including attendance of WIP meetings.
• Preparation of Variations, and payment applications on monthly basis, in addition to, the preparation of claims and liaising with Project team to prepare the delay analysis and cost calculation.
• Maintain log for all Project records (letters, notices, VOs, claims, …etc.) and update them on daily basis.
• Negotiate with clients/QS consultants/contractors to settle variations, amounts to be deducted by others, extension of time, financial loss and/or claims, etc until the closure of final accounts and collection of final account balance to the company’s best advantage.

• Handled Large Projects Contracts
• Good understanding of Contract / commercial
• Good understanding of Financials
• MS office and SAP System.
• Desired completed university education in Technical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Electronics Engineering
  
• Desired Organization and Planning skills, elevator and escalator industry knowledge –product, field-, safety procedures knowledge, Schindler Finance knowledge, IT skills. Schindler Leadership Framework behaviors required.
  
• Desired experience in installations and leading teams in elevator and escalator or construction industries for at least three years.
