Responsibilities:
1. Ensures a continuing supply of blood in the blood center by:
- Arranging mass donation
- Enhancing Office Collection
- 2. Organizes public appeals (pep talks), lectures and other possible venues of promotion to Seek support for the voluntary blood drive.
4. Assists chapters in operating Blood Collecting Unit/Blood Station and he implementing An effective donor recruitment and retention system.
5. Assists in fostering relationships of the Blood Center with the organizations such as GO's, NGO's, and/or LGU's and institutions such as hospitals
6. Identifies the need for ad designs materials for advocacy and promotion of voluntary Blood donation.
7. Continuosly seeks for effective donor recruitment and retention strategies
8. Participates in the conduct of mass blood donations whenever necessary blood bank medical technologist (limited to blood dispensing only.)
9. Performs the functions of the blood bank receptionist, blood bank nurse, or blood bank medical technologist (limited to blood dispensing only)
10. Performs other duties as may be assigned by superiors, including but not limited to the following:
- Accompanies Blood Services Committee chairperson in functions related to Blood Services.
- Coordinates appointment of the Blood Service Committee chairperson pertaining to Blood Services.
