Qualifications
· Graduate of BS in Business Administration or any equivalent
· With proven work experience as Purchasing Assistant or equivalent
· Preferably with experience in Hospitality industry specifically in Hotel as Purchaser
· Knowledgeable in supply chain procedures
· With strong analytical skills, and the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analysis
· Computer literate
· Can drive the company vehicle to purchase good
· With driver's license
Duties and Responsibilities
· Evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts and preparing reports (e.g. on orders and costs)
· Create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure high quality and on time delivery of merchandise
· Research potential vendors
· Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
· Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) create your own database
· Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
· Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis
