Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide transportation for the employer and other passengers to various destinations including work, appointments, meetings and social events.
2. Ensure timely arrival by planning and following the most efficient routes, considering traffic conditions and weather.
3. Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and in proper working condition.
4. Schedule and manage routine maintenance and necessary repairs.
5. Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance and mileage.
6. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
7. Ensure the safety of all passengers by practicing defensive driving and being aware of surroundings.
8. Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding the employer's personal and professional matters.
9. Keep a detailed log of driving activities, including start and stop times, destinations, and any incidents.
10. Assist with scheduling and confirming appointments as needed.
11. Run errands and perform other duties as assigned by the employer.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience as a personal or professional driver.
3. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
4. Additional certifications (e.g., defensive driving, first aid) are a plus.
5. Excellent driving skills and a thorough understanding of traffic laws.
6. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
7. Professional demeanor with a strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
8. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
9. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
10. Capability to lift and carry light to moderate loads as necessary.
