Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role, based in BGC, Taguig.
Position Overview:
Brand Buzz is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bookkeeper our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be at least 30 yo with a minimum of 4 years of relevant finance and admin experience, demonstrating a strong background in finance and administration. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance:
  • Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • General Bookeeping
  • Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
  • Generate Bank statements, reconciliations of accounts and update bank reports file.
  • Verify expense reports, maintain record.
  • Responsible for Bank transactions and coordination with the bank personnel.
  • Process accounts and incoming payments such as vendors, utilities, rental, and service providers in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Performing day to day financial transactions, posting, and recording accounts receivables data.
  • Reconcile financial statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare Client invoices copy to be delivered and send email for a proof.
  • Performing follow up of due payment to Clients and copy of 2307.
  • Prepare SSS, PHILHEALTH, HDMF etc.
  • Performing payment processing for KOLs projects thru Finance tool, monitoring and updating of file and coordination with the team.
  • Performing payment processing for Celebrity Talent thru Finance tool or check payment and prepare certificate of withholding tax if any.
  • Verify taxes and other deductions
  • Performing VAT / Purchased receipts encoding, picture and uploading at Google Drive.
  • Monitor company expenditures (including payroll, Interns allowance), ensure payment credits are applied correctly in coordination with accountants.
  • Maintain filing of hard copies and Soft copies such ORs, Invoices, Withholding Tax Certificate, and others.
  • Maintain uploading of files at Google Drive sheet.
  • Maintain petty cash, day to day record of expenses.
  • Assist in financial reporting and analysis for management review.
  • Support in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis of Management team.
Preferences:
  • Must be Knowledgeable in Quickbooks.
  • Preference for candidates that is residing close to workplace (BGC) for ease of commute/attendance.
Administration:
  • Handle general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Assist in organizing team attendance.
  • Coordinate and communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Assist in HR- and finance related tasks such as onboarding and maintaining employee records.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 yrs of relevant experience in finance and/or administration assistance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
