Job Title: Barista
Department: Food and Beverage / Coffee Shop

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and other beverages, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting workspace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation:
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, according to company recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment.
• Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide product recommendations.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
• Store Operations:
• Handle cash register transactions, including processing payments and giving change.
• Restock inventory, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance:
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, seating areas, and restrooms.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe environment.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and report any issues or concerns.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
