In this role, you will provide a single point of contact for end users for all technology support requests and services and is a part of the Technology Operations team that is responsible for all corporate hardware (laptops, monitors, mobiles, printers, etc.), operating systems, and applications.
As the face of our Technology team, your exceptional customer service skills, your technical knowledge, and a genuine desire to learn, will ensure that we provide the best end-user experience to our staff and customers.
To be successful in this role you will thrive on problem-solving while investigating and diagnosing technology issues, your ability to multi-task and manage your time will also be critical in this dynamic environment with plenty of exciting changes occurring within the business.
This is an office-based role in our National Office in Dunedin, applicants will need to be located in Dunedin or looking to relocate.
Just some of the things you’re responsible for:
- Resolve user queries/issues per IT policies and processes, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.
- Train users to enhance technology proficiency, maintain/helpdesk content and manage building security systems.
- Oversee software applications by logging and resolving issues with vendors.
- Perform configuration changes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Test software updates and train users on changes.
- Manage device purchasing and replacement responsibly, maintaining an accurate asset register.
- Maintain and update a knowledge base to support the Technology team and end users.
- Communicate system outages and other IT updates effectively.
You’ll need to have:
- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows OS with an enthusiasm for, and ability to adapt to new technology.
- Prior Level 1 and 2 Technology support with an awareness of the ITIL framework.
- Outstanding team player with the ability to work independently to complete work.
- Attention to detail with high level of accuracy.
- Effective written and oral communication and the ability to explain technical terms in simple terms.
