Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver Effective Curriculum and Foster a Modern Learning Culture
  • Ensure consistent and competent delivery of the New Zealand curriculum.
  • Implement the school’s vision, focusing on student achievement and engagement.
  • Promote self-directed learning and share knowledge on modern teaching practices.
Experience and skills:
  • New Zealand registered teacher with experience across Y3 to 6.
  • Strong knowledge of learning and effective teaching methods.
  • Experience working collaboratively with other adults.
  • Knowledge of modern learning environments and techniques.
  • Clear communication and effective listening.
  • Ability to liaise with parents, staff, pupils, and the wider community.
  • Strong planning, assessment, and record-keeping skills.

  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm, good humour, and a commitment to challenging work.
  • Effective team player with personal integrity and professionalism.
