About us
Whītiki Maurea is a Māori clinical service within the Waitematā DHB District Mental Health Services Group. We provide clinical treatment in mental health and addictions with a kaupapa Māori (cultural values and concepts) approach to tāngata whai i te ora Māori who are living in the Waitematā catchment area.

About the Role
This position is for Moko services– a Multi Discipline Team. Providing occupational therapy assessment and interventions to service users. The care is based on comprehensive assessments, collaborative recovery plans and supports programme delivery in collaboration with cultural advisors.
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist that has care co-ordination and community mental health experience. You will need:
- A full drivers license
- Current practicing certificate
- Minimum of 2 years working in Mental Health Services
- Professional Supervision
- Regular in-service training
- Supportive team environment
- Ongoing best practice initiatives
- Ongoing professional development, cultural competence development
- Reimbursement of APC and contribution towards Professional Association fees
