As a tertiary hospital we have the following on offer:
  • Fully equipped Radiology department with DR, General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, DSA, NM, MRI and ultrasound services
  • We work alongside colleagues in Emergency, Theatre, ICU, Outpatients and NICU
  • Dynamic and varied work environment, servicing a vast geographical service delivery area with a diverse patient population
  • You will certainly be kept on your toes, with our service operating on a 24/7 basis with on-call rostering

To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:
  • Approachable, and professional with a team-player mentality
  • A natural affinity for relationship building with both patients and staff alike
  • Be a team player through and through, with refined communication skills
  • Working towards completion of tertiary study in 2024 and be able to apply for an Annual Practicing Certificate and registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board
  • Highly adaptable, motivated, and work efficiently
  • You must have the ability to cover both the on call and shift roster

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role belongs to the APEX/Te Whatu Ora Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement, Step 1 ($70,842 p.a pro-rata) of the Medical Imaging Technologists scale.
