Are you passionate about Mathematics? Do you have expertise in leading Mathematics in a primary school setting? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Specialist Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact on our students’ academic journey. We are committed to fostering a love of learning and a strong foundation in mathematics for every student and believe in the importance and value of having a dedicated specialist teacher in this area.
This is a full-time, fixed term role for one year, starting Term 1 2025. Working with teachers and students across the Junior School you will focus on developing and strengthening mathematics teaching and learning, as well as providing targeted instruction to small groups and individuals. This is an exciting time with the release of the new curriculum document and as a leading and prestigious school, we are committed to providing an exceptional learning environment that nurtures students to achieve and be mathematically empowered.

Passionate about teaching Mathematics
Energetic, enthusiastic and motivated
A primary trained and New Zealand registered classroom teacher
Responsible for ensuring a friendly and supportive learning environment
Committed to ongoing learning

We are an International Baccalaureate School and teach the New Zealand curriculum through an inquiry-based model. We are an IB World School, with our Junior School accredited to teach the Primary Years Programme (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate. Our Junior School has students from Years 0-6 who have rich opportunities for learning through high expectation classroom programmes along with specialist teachers in many areas of the curriculum.
