Duct Installer/Fabricator

Our company, Tier 5 HVAC Solutions Limited, is looking for five people to join our team in Auckland. As a Duct Installer/Fabricator, you will be responsible for installing duct systems across various projects, ensuring they meet our high standards for safety and functionality. Your experience in fabrication will play a key role in customising ductwork to meet project specifications and support seamless installations.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a permanent role, 30 hours per week. Hourly wage would depend on your experience but it would be between $27 - $32 per hour.

Pay: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
Schedule:
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain duct systems according to specifications.
- Fabricate ductwork based on blueprints and SMACNA guidelines to ensure precise fitting and functionality.
- Use fabrication skills to cut, shape, modify, and assemble ductwork as required onsite.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines and specifications.
- Confident in repairing, modifying, and assembling ductworks on-site to meet unforeseen requirements
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with duct installations.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Proven experience as a Ducting Installer, with a strong background in fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using fabrication machines and power tools related to duct installation and fabrication.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in welding and brazing(Copper and/or Stainless)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Willing to relocate and work anywhere in Auckland
- Flexible to work on weekends if needed
- We require shortlisted candidates to pass a trade test
- As part of our health and safety commitment, candidates must pass drug tests.
- Candidates will also need to pass a police check
