RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct research utilizing resources such as Linked In, SFDC, and industry databases to identify potential customers within target markets.
• Identify and understand the needs of prospects, recommending appropriate products or services.
• Qualify leads based on pre-established criteria, assess customer needs, and provide high-level solution overviews to filter prospects suitable for further engagement.
• Close deal opportunities during initial contact calls.
• Take initiative in reaching out to potential leads through various channels including cold calling, email campaigns, Linked In, and other relevant platforms to generate new sales opportunities and interest in the company's solutions and products.
• Build and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships with prospects to convert them into qualified sales opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the sales and pre-sales/ consultant teams to hand off qualified leads and provide detailed insights gathered during the initial stages of contact.
• Facilitate meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives.
• Maintain a well-organized and accurate lead database, ensuring that leads are properly nurtured and followed up on in a timely manner.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's solutions/ services and effectively communicate their value proposition to prospects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent education, or a minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as a sales development representative, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Proficiency in working with Salesforce or other CRM software platforms.
• Experience in business-to-business (B2B) phone-based sales, specifically within the solution and IT services industry.
