Recruiter - Blue Collar

A Blue-Collar Recruiter in a Recruitment & Staffing company in Malaysia focuses on sourcing, recruiting, and placing candidates for blue-collar roles such as warehouse staff, drivers, factory workers, cleaners, and technicians. This role involves high-volume recruitment, managing client expectations, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
Key Responsibilities1. Sourcing & Candidate Pipeline Development
  • Identify and attract blue-collar candidates using job portals, social media, employee referrals, walk-in drives, and community networks.
  • Build and maintain a strong database of potential candidates for future hiring needs.
2. Screening & Selection
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience, and availability.
  • Shortlist candidates based on job-specific requirements, such as physical fitness, certifications, and skills.
3. Client Coordination
  • Collaborate with clients to understand job specifications, workforce requirements, and timelines.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on recruitment progress.
4. Recruitment Campaigns & Walk-in Drives
  • Organize recruitment campaigns, career fairs, and walk-in interviews to attract a large pool of candidates.
  • Partner with local agencies, training centers, or community leaders to source candidates.
5. Onboarding & Documentation
  • Assist candidates in completing necessary documentation, including work permits, contracts, and pre-employment requirements (medical tests, certifications, etc.).
  • Ensure candidates understand their job roles, pay structure, and work conditions.
6. Compliance & Labor Law Adherence
  • Ensure all hiring processes comply with Malaysian labor laws, including EPF, SOCSO, and EIS contributions.
7. Post-Recruitment Support
  • Act as a liaison between clients and candidates to address any post-placement issues.
  • Monitor candidate performance during the probationary period and facilitate replacements if necessary.
8. Reporting & Metrics
  • Prepare weekly or monthly reports on hiring progress, candidate placement rates, and client satisfaction.
  • Track KPIs, such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and offer acceptance rates.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
