The Head, Group Company Secretary will lead a dedicated team in overseeing the Company’s corporate governance and compliance services, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards under the Companies Act 2016 and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. This role requires a strategic leader capable of managing corporate secretarial functions for diverse clients, while maintaining the firm’s standards of excellence and regulatory adherence.
Requirements:

• CGI (ICSA) qualification or equivalent, with eligibility to practice as a Company Secretary
• At least 15 years of corporate secretarial experience with management firms or public listed entities
• A strong understanding of the Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia's Listing Requirements, and other related laws and regulations, coupled with the ability to apply this knowledge to complex governance and compliance issues.
• Good inter-personal and communication skills
• Proactive, independent, and meticulous

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Company Secretary, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and overseeing the preparation of documents such as board resolutions, annual returns, and forms for submission to the Companies Commission of Malaysia. Attend board and committee meetings, and draft minutes.
• Lead and supervise a team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, adherence to internal policies, and timely billings and collections. Provide guidance and performance management to team members, facilitate their professional development, and ensure effective use of team resources.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, provide technical advisory services, anticipate client needs, and manage the delivery of services. Contribute to business development by securing new clients and identifying opportunities for cross-selling other services.
• Support the Director in implementing Division strategies and policies, highlight risks, and ensure effective communication within the team. Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, corporate governance standards, and internal procedures. Identify and mitigate potential risks to clients and the business, providing proactive solutions as needed.

Pay: RM25,000.00 - RM30,000.00 per month
