We are imports of fabric of headscarves in Malaysia, and have been operating in Malaysia for the last 22 years. We are looking to grow our team and are looking for a professional bookkeeper to support our financial operations.
Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Bookkeeper to manage our company’s financial records and ensure accuracy in reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and a proactive approach to maintaining financial integrity. The candidate should also have at least 1 year of experience and knowledge how to operate themselves in their role.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
• Manage inventory records in collaboration with the operations team.
• Handle invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal accounting regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with vendors, clients, and team members.
