- Experience: Minimum 15 years of quality assurance testing experience, specifically with technologies as outlined by EIB in the relevant ATo R (Areas of Technical Responsibility).
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English (B2 level of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or equivalent).
Desirable Requirements (Depending on EIB's Needs):
- Industry Experience: Previous experience working within financial services, insurance institutions, or equivalent sectors.
- Education: University degree (M.Sc.) or equivalent applied experience.
- Software Development Experience: Strong proficiency in Java EE, Java Script, Python, and SQL.
- Test Management Tools: Familiarity with test management tools such as Test Rail, XRay, Qtest, or Quality Center.
- Test Automation: Experience with test automation frameworks like Cucumber, Selenium, Katalon, Cypress, Puppeteer, or Playwright.
- Test Plan Design: Ability to design and implement comprehensive test plans for various types of testing.
- Functional Testing & Automation Scripting: Solid experience in functional testing and writing automation scripts for test execution.
- Application Performance Monitoring: Familiarity with application performance monitoring and observability tools.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify, isolate, and document defects with precision.
- Agile Methodology: In-depth knowledge of agile practices, including experience using agile planning tools such as Jira.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Excellent team collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Adaptability: Flexibility and a strong willingness to learn new technologies and approaches as needed to meet project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assurance testing on complex financial applications, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and performance.
- Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts, with an emphasis on automation where appropriate.
- Work closely with development teams to define requirements and identify testing needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Perform continuous monitoring of application performance and provide feedback for improvements.
- Document test results, defects, and areas for improvement, ensuring clear communication across teams.
- Contribute to the evolution of agile testing methodologies within the organization.
