We are seeking a talented Senior Security Researcher to join Cyclops Security and play a leading role in advancing our threat research and driving security innovation. Your Role
- Detection Engineering: Design, develop, and implement advanced detection techniques to proactively identify and mitigate security threats, delivering real-time protection and insights for our customers.
- Hypothesis-Driven Research on Threats and Attacks: Conduct in-depth research to test hypotheses on emerging threats and attack vectors, translating findings into actionable insights and protections that provide tangible value to Cyclops Security's customers.
- Reshape and Enhance Data Models: Work closely with the team to refine and optimize our data model, ensuring it supports innovative security use cases and enhances the overall system’s accuracy and efficiency.
- 5+ years of experience in security research, threat research, cloud R&D, or offensive security
- Data analysis and coding skills
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Highly motivated, great self-learner, curious, responsible and independent
- B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent professional background
- Threat intelligence, red team, or incident response experience
- Experience with data/security analysis
- Detection engineering experience
