The Capital Assets Process Leader is responsible for Management of the Fixed Asset and Lease accounting activities for a global business with more than $1B in assets in scope.

This position reports to the the Cytiva Assistant Controller and is part of the Global Controllership located in Budapest Hungary, and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Manage Fixed Asset and Lease Accounting Genpact process teams, to drive an efficient close, consistent with Cytiva policies and procedures during monthly/quarterly close process for their respective areas.
  
• Working with colleagues on the capital appropriation process from approval thru to general ledger inputs and including the management of construction in process accounting.
  
• Working with cross functional colleagues on the accounting related to leased assets including facilities and fleet
  
• Identifying simplification and enhancement opportunities in accounting and reporting processes relating to Fixed Assets, and Lease accounting
  
• Ensure that global balance sheet account reconciliations are completed within DHR guidelines & lead effective audits of global account reconciliations
  
• Support internal & external audits & and the SOX related activities
  

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field with significant accounting and finance experience or CPA / CA or equivalent,
  
• Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change. Sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
  
• Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
  
• Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, vlookup, and macros)
  
• Experience working in a global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows and prior experience managing a remote team
  

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel – Occasional travel to HQ locations to participate in team and project initiatives
