About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, hungry, social candidate with a keen interest in financial markets and preferably some market experience to join the number one Asia Ex-Japan Credit Desk. The role will, initially, be to support the desk and understand how Inter Dealer Broking works with progression on to covering his/her accounts of their own eventually. We will train you to understand the mechanics of the Asian Bond markets and how to link into our desks in Tokyo, Dubai, London and Paris. We will train you to become a technical and relationship broker through experience on the desk and external training courses.

Job Description:
Monitor markets and closely follow financial news and developments.

Maintain accurate trade records.

Help with morning reports from overnight to send to clients

Stay on top of new bond issues coming to market

Assist in running electronic trading sessions

Help develop Excel models for pricing bond curves for matching sessions

Work the link line to our offices in Tokyo, Dubai, London and Paris

Once the desk feels the candidate is ready, he/she will start to build relationships with clients by helping support senior brokers and taking their own clients

Develop knowledge through external training courses

Job Requirements:
Required Skills: Microsoft Office, Customer Service, Bloomberg(not essential)

Ability to work with diverse groups/personalities.

Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

Highly energetic, motivated, and enjoy client engagement and business development.

Fast and accurate with communicating numbers verbally and in writing

Team player with strong rapport-building skills.
