We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to find and acquire local clients in Hong Kong (and globally, based on connections) for web development projects. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between clients and our web development team based in India, ensuring clear communication and smooth project execution.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships, and securing web development projects from clients. While the Indian company will handle all production and development, your role will be crucial in ensuring that client needs are clearly communicated and met.
Key Responsibilities:

• Client Acquisition: Identify and reach out to potential clients in Hong Kong and across the globe who are looking for web development services.
• Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison between clients and the Indian development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of client needs and requirements.
• Lead Generation: Use your network, industry knowledge, and outreach strategies to generate high-quality leads through cold calling, emails, social media, and industry events.
• Negotiation & Closing Deals: Work with potential clients to understand their needs, present our solutions, and close deals for web development projects.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate with the Indian development team to ensure the timely delivery of projects while keeping clients updated on progress.
• Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to clients to address any issues or concerns during the course of the project.
• Market Research: Stay informed about the web development industry trends and competitors to help refine the sales strategy and approach.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business development, client acquisition, or sales (preferably in the web development or tech industry).
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus for the Hong Kong market).
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, with a results-driven mindset.
• Experience working with international teams, particularly in India, is a plus.
• Familiarity with web development processes and technologies is desirable but not mandatory.

Compensation:

• Fixed Monthly Pay: A competitive salary based on experience.
• Commission: More than 10% commission on the total project value, based on the size of the project and client acquisition.
