We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with 2-3 years of experience to join our finance team based in Kifissia, Athens, Greece.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform daily accounting entries in the General Ledger and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing process.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Requirements :

• 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Solid knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and meet deadlines.

It will be nice to have :

• Experience with the MYDATA platform.
• Previous work experience in a company's accounting department ideally in the retail sector.
