Group Rooms Division Manager

for the SWOT Headquarters in Kolonaki, Athens.

Position Overview:
The Group Rooms Division Manager will oversee the strategic and operational performance of the rooms division across multiple properties within SWOT Hospitality’ s portfolio.

This role is critical in driving guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance, while fostering a culture of service excellence and innovation.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of leadership in luxury or full-service hotels, with expertise in multi-property management.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic and Operational Leadership

Develop and implement strategic plans for the rooms division to align with company goals.

Establish operational standards, policies, and procedures to optimize service delivery and efficiency.

Ensure consistency and alignment with brand standards across all properties.

Regularly audit operations in housekeeping, front office, and guest services to maintain quality and compliance.

Financial Performance and Revenue Optimization

Prepare and manage budgets for the rooms division, ensuring adherence to financial targets.

Collaborate with revenue management teams to optimize room inventory, rates, and upselling strategies.

Drive cost optimization initiatives across departments, balancing efficiency with service quality.

Provide detailed performance reports, analyzing key financial and operational metrics.

Guest Experience Excellence

Design and oversee a seamless, personalized guest experience from check-in to check-out.

Implement guest feedback mechanisms and ensure swift resolution of complaints to enhance loyalty.

Collaborate with teams to deliver exceptional experiences for VIP and loyalty program guests.

Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate innovations to elevate the guest journey.

Team Leadership and Talent Development

Lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives for rooms division leadership and staff.

Establish KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews, providing coaching and mentorship.

Promote employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion within the team.

Build a high-performing culture centered on collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

Drive process improvements and implement sustainable practices within the rooms division.

Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance operations and the guest experience.

Identify market trends and best practices, integrating them into the company’s operational strategy.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

Work closely with property General Managers and other departments to ensure cohesive operations.

Act as the primary liaison between corporate leadership and property-level teams for the rooms division.

Maintain strong vendor and partner relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness in procurement.

Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.

Proficiency in F&B service design and delivery.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field

8+ years of experience in rooms division management, preferably in luxury or full-service hotels.

Proven expertise in multi-property operations and large-scale hotel environments.

Demonstrated success in driving guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and financial performance.
