You will join our Governance, Risk and Compliance team providing services to the banking industry . You will participate in projects related to Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT ), Know-Your-Customer (KYC) , Sanction Screening and other related projects for major financial institutions.

Examples of tasks you will work on as part of the team
  • Review AML/CFT risks and complete risk assessments as required.
  • Use digital equipment, software, and other tools to provide in-depth AML/CFT risk analysis.
  • Investigate and report on suspicious or fraudulent financial activity.
  • Report and make notes and records of any suspicious transactions or activities in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Identify trends using digital techniques.
  • Support Know your Customer operations and perform customer due diligence.
  • Maintain and update your knowledge of anti-money laundering compliance rules, regulations, laws, and best practices.
  • Monitoring of the relevant AML/CFT laws, regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement strategies to follow AML/CFT regulatory requirements.


What we are looking for
  • Bachelor degree in any of the following areas: Business/Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Statistics, Mathematics or other related field.
  • MSc in a related discipline will be highly regarded.
  • 0 - 2 years of professional experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know-Your-Customer, Sanctions screening, Fraud, Regulatory Compliance or other related experience will be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of current AML legislation.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with teams at all hierarchical levels.
  • Project management skills by managing multiple priorities with strict deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English.
