About the Role
Compo Secure seeks to hire a Sales Manager, Strategic Sales and Business Development executive to accelerate the next chapter of our growth. The company is looking for a proven sales professional with a track record of driving accelerated growth and scale. This role is paramount to our regional strategy and the successful candidate will serve as a key leader to identify and convert prospects across payment, digital asset storage and multi-factor authentication applications. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Assess the territory/market potential and develop a sales strategy to maximize revenue potential.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed upon targets and outcomes within our quarterly schedule, whilst owning the entire sales qualification cycle.
  • Initiate and nurture relationships across key C-Suite, Managing Director and business line-level leaders to influence buying decisions.
  • Help define and execute the regional go-to-market strategy
  • Partnering with Technical Solutions and Product Development teams to implement and grow innovative solutions for targeted customers
  • Partner with Account Management group to ensure our customers receive maximum value and resolve customer issues as they arise.
  • Maintain and update sales forecasts, account and opportunity data within company systems
This is a remote role and can be based in Germany, Netherlands, Austria, or Belgium.
Candidate Profile
The Sales Manager, Strategic Sales and Business Development candidate will possess a strong commercial track record of new business sales and revenue growth, new client acquisition, and the development of multiple routes to market in the form of direct sales and partnerships. This executive will have a deep understanding of the major business topics, challenges, and opportunities across our focus industries (banks, payment card issuers, Fintechs, crypto and Web 3.0). The individual will bring the requisite solution development insights and experience, along with an established network of industry influencers and payment professionals in our target markets.
Required Skills and Competencies:
  • 5+ Years of experience selling within the payment/fintech/card issuance/security sector.
  • Ability to communicate new and complicated concepts in an easy-to-understand way that creates a high level of desire for our solutions.
  • Consultative sales experience, a collaborative leadership style, and experience working cross-functionally to drive the sales process.
  • Confidence while working in a hyper-growth stage company where the product and sales processes are constantly evolving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, advanced spoken and written English proficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • High level of computer literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Outlook.
