Description

Responsible for overseeing and participating in the production of medical device products in accordance with established manufacturing documents and procedures. Also responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily production operations, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high safety standards, and meeting production goals within established timelines. Responsible This role involves managing a team of production employees, coordinating with other departments, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality. The Senior Production Supervisor plays a pivotal role in achieving operational excellence and supporting organizational growth.
Responsibilities:

• Supervise production personnel to ensure adherence to established procedures / policies (Costa Rica and Inari).
• Advocate to INARI Ethos.
• Maintain an adequate and respectful manufacturing organizational environment align with Inari Ethos.
• Responsible of the time and attendance process for the direct reports.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to meet production targets / KPIS. Ensuring the efficient use of resources, including materials, labor and others.
• Perform verification of production output according to specifications; prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to upper management.
• Communicate with other departments and teams to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Understand manufacturing processes and assure that all the operators of the manufacturing line had the adequate: training, tools and PPE for the manufacturing process.
• Hire, train, develop, motivate, and periodically do performance evaluations on Production employees.
• Assure that operators knows the importance of document data associated with the building of product on build records.
• Analyze production data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Support and coordinate with Engineering builds for prototypes testing and validation protocols.
• Support/Lead quality investigations related with manufacturing issues in the manufacturing line.

Qualifications:

• Strong supervisory skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment.
• Good written and oral communication.
• Knowledge of basic measuring techniques including scales, ruler, US and metric measurement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic
• Strong communication skills to take instruction and provide feedback to engineering and/or management related to production issues.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a production setting.
• Ability to follow procedures.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in supervising roles, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Bachelor degree in related field.
• General knowledge of clean room procedures.
• Fully Bilingual both written and verbal (English and Spanish)
• Comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI.
