Your opportunity
Do you want to be at the heart of business decision making and support prestigious advisory firms with key insights, analysis and creative research methodology, advance analysis, and cutting-edge intelligence platform?
We're looking for an Analyst to be based out of our Colombia entity. The ideal candidate is someone who can leverage business acumen and critical thinking to handle Business research projects and perform advanced secondary research in support of Professional Services clients. Your contribution will be critical to our business, as it not only influences our engagement with existing clients but also helps us develop our activities, foster positive work environment through mindful leadership and support the development of long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.
This position forms part of Evalueserve LATAM’s Professional Services division and is hybrid. If you love solving complex research & insights projects, working in dynamic teams, providing top-notch quality services to your clients, and bringing new ideas to the table, we want to talk to you.
Important responsibilities in this role will include:
- Working with the Business Intelligence team of the client, a global management consulting firm, to deliver research and analysis on companies, industry, products, etc.
- Work on a combination of quick-turnaround, same-day (few hours), and medium-sized (few days) research requests
- Collecting and analyzing data through secondary research, working with third-party databases across industries, including Factiva, Thomson, and Capital IQ
- Engaging in operational communications with clients to understand their research requirements, propose approaches, and manage their expectations, as required
- Delivering insightful financial, situation, and performance analysis through a combination of predefined charts and templates. Gather company relevant news articles and their latest M&A transactions
- Analyze and synthesize the information to draw insights and prepare reports leveraging advanced MS Office Suite proficiency (MS Power Point, MS Word, and MS Excel).

What you bring to the role:
Undergraduate degree (see below for details) and the following skills:
- 0-3 years of research experience
- Business Administration (Administración de Empresas) or Industrial Engineering (Ingeniería Industrial) or Economics (Economía) or Finance (Finanzas )
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Power Point (no VBA or programming skills required)
- Strong attention to detail
- “Can do” attitude and ability to take initiative
- Analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and communication skills
- Knowledge of financial concepts and financial statements
- Availability and flexibility to work with rotative shifts considering clients’ time zone
- Fluency in any other language is a plus.
