Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and assistance to individuals, particularly seniors and those with disabilities, in various settings including home care, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Your goal will be to enhance the quality of life for our clients by offering support with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Duties
As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring health conditions.
• Supporting individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments through engaging activities.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Assisting clients in mobility and transportation needs when necessary.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Experience
The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in caregiving or support roles, particularly in senior care or working with persons with disabilities.
• Familiarity with medication administration and basic health monitoring practices.
• Knowledge of dementia care techniques and best practices in assisted living environments.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
• A compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

Pay: $22.72-$23.90 per hour
