We are currently recruiting a Mechanic for a permanent full-time position at our Moncton Branch. At Carter Brothers, you will be a key member of our maintenance team and you have opportunities for advancement and you are critical to the success of the organization.
As a technician you will be responsible to perform repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment, such as boom trucks, highway tractors and trailers, heavy equipment, light duty vehicles, etc.
Duties

• Inspect chassis and power train components
• Diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues
• Majority of repairs will be indoors but will be required to work outside and perform service calls as needed.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of working on similar equipment.
• Welding and hydraulic experience would be an asset.
• Red Seal or equivalent would be an asset but not required.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Must have own tools

• Fully equipped shop with overhead crane, pit, automotive hoist, paint booth, machining equipment, fabrication equipment, etc.
• Permanent, Full Time, 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
• 2 weeks vacation.
• Pay from $27.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
