AEDN Realty is a private real estate investment company founded in 1950. AEDN assets include equity interests in multi-family, industrial, retail, student housing and commercial properties across Canada and the US. AEDN also engages in development and management of retail, commercial and residential properties.
We are seeking a Live-in Concierge with knowledge of minor demolition, electricity, HVAC, and carpentry to oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and general upkeep of our building in Westmount, QC. The ideal candidate will have previous custodial and handyman experience and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities

• Keep the building grounds and common areas clean, neat, and well-maintained.
• Perform daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning, including garbage and recycling removal, cleaning of air conditioners, regular drain cleaning, and maintaining all HVAC systems.
• Ensure walkways and entrances are clear of snow and safe during winter.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants, completing all necessary cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Complete minor repairs including lock changes, basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and plastering, respecting tenant property and maintaining tidy workspaces.
• Respond to after-hours and weekend emergency calls as required, ensuring issues are addressed promptly.
• Complete tenant work orders and update tenant repairs on Building Stack.
• Perform other tasks as requested by your supervisor to ensure building safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in custodial or handyman roles, with the ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb stairs, and perform manual labor.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented approach.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
