Immigration Consultant
PART TIME

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Immigration Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of immigration laws and procedures, and will be responsible for guiding clients through the immigration process. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively. The Immigration Consultant will work closely with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive consultations with clients to evaluate their immigration needs and options.
- Prepare and submit various immigration applications and petitions on behalf of clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws, policies, and procedures to provide accurate advice.
- Manage client databases and ensure all documentation is organized and accessible.
- Utilize project management skills to oversee multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their case status, requirements, and any additional information needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals in the field to stay informed about changes in immigration regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members as necessary.
- CICC License in good standing
- English fluency is a must, French, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, a second language is a great asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Access.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with project management methodologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with databases for managing client information efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for client interactions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership qualities that can inspire confidence in clients and colleagues alike.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Bachelor's Degree (required)
- Full-Time Canadian Immigration law: 5 years (required)
- English (required)
- RCIC, CICC member in good standing (required)
