We are searching for the right candidate with a clean Class 3 license to join our hatchery team to deliver eggs/live chicks to/from our Westlock hatchery using our truck. Deliveries are typically made to Edmonton and central Alberta, though all over Western Canada may be periodically required. Work hours are variable, as the delivery of chicks is time sensitive, and you must be prepared to leave as soon as the chicks are ready. Ideally, the right candidate can work longer hours in our busy season (March to June) with a weekly longer run with poss overnight stay. Other skills (maintenance, vehicle repair, electrical/plumbing/carpentry) will be beneficial for successful candidate.
As an exceptional delivery driver, you will be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly for loading/unloading the crates and follow standard safety operating procedures. We pride ourselves on delivering quality chicks with exceptional customer service!
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$23.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
