Solar Cheerleading club is an Allstar Cheerleading Gym located in Peterborough Ontario. We offer programs for all skill levels aged 4 and Up.
We are looking for Organized, Enthusiastic and Positive individuals to join our Team!
Responsibilities:
· Coach a variety of programs at Solar Cheerleading including: tumbling, Recreational, Prep, Competitive, Open Gym, Skill Classes and Birthday Party’s
- Experience Spotting tumbling skills based on level certification. Experience Spotting Stunts and Tumbling.
· Strong Communication skills to keep parents informed on Practice progress.
- Knowledge of Tumbling level progression, and Drills to target specific areas of tumbling skills.
· Knowledge of routine structure and Stunt Legality in Certified Level
· Plan for and attend coaching meetings and club events, including travel to competitions, Team Bonding, Parades, Parties, and Parent Meetings.
- Keep up to date on the most updated Safety procedures and drills released by Cheer Canada.
- Practice the Perfection before progression structure and prioritize Athletes safety.
- Create a fun and inclusive Environment for Athletes to reach their full potential.
· Be a Role model in the gym for younger athletes
- Actively recruit potential athletes for all streams of the programs.
Qualifications:
· ICU Certification is an asset
· Gymnastics Foundations or Comp 1 is an asset
· Experience in Allstar Cheerleading, Tumbling, Scholastic Cheerleading or Gymnastics
· ICU or Gymnastics Foundations certification (or willing to obtain)
· First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
· Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector (or willing to obtain)
