You are responsible for creating welcoming and unforgettable experiences for our guests while on shift. You are a natural host. As part of your daily shift, you will be working at the check-in area, U Bar and our restaurant locations. You will excel at caring for guests, employees and providing a safe haven at The Usual Brussels.

The role
As host, you’re not only welcoming our guests - you’re creating experiences for them. Picture yourself and your colleagues as memory makers, where you won’t hide behind a desk, but you will cover activities between check-in, bar, restaurant, terrace & meeting rooms. During your shift, you are engaged in:
- Creating an inviting and cozy ambiance that sets the stage for a positive stay from the very first hello.
- Anticipating guest needs and preferences through conversations and thoughtful questioning.
- Spread moments of joy by surprising our guests with unexpected gestures.
- Address guests’ concerns and find swift solutions to secure their happiness.
Your superpowers and requirements
- Finished studies or currently pursuing studies in hospitality or relevant work experience. We welcome great characters from other industries / fields next to hospitality;
- Fluency in English is essential, additional languages are a plus;
- Fulltime/parttime and flexible, with shifts from 07:00-15:00 and 15:00-23:00;
- Must have a heart for sustainability;
- You are legally allowed to work in Belgium.
