Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. You will be responsible for preparing and overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Tasks , Duties , Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Coordinate the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Monitor financial transactions and prepare regular reports for management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights for cost control.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior accounting staff.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or ACCA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience at Bahrain.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (Quick Books, Using MAC) .
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: BD400.000 - BD500.000 per month
