Position: Electrical Site Engineer/Supervisor
Location: Kingdom of Bahrain
Experience Required: 3-5 years in construction projects in GCC
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering
License: Valid Bahrain Driving License (added advantage)
Job Summary:
The Electrical Site Engineer/Supervisor is responsible for managing electrical works at construction sites, ensuring all tasks are executed in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. The role involves quantity take-offs, material delivery coordination, and on-site supervision to guarantee smooth progress of electrical installations and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Quantity Take-Off:
o Conduct accurate quantity take-offs for electrical systems, cables, fixtures, and
equipment based on construction drawings.
o Prepare detailed quantity estimates to support material procurement and cost
planning.
2. Material Delivery Coordination:
o Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of electrical materials and
equipment to site.
o Verify delivered materials against purchase orders to maintain quality and
inventory control.
o Manage and track inventory to avoid shortages or overstock.
3. Site Supervision and Monitoring:
o Oversee installation of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and power
distribution according to project specifications.
o Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with
design plans and codes.
o Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams to streamline project progress and
resolve on-site challenges.
4. Safety and Compliance:
o Implement and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
for all personnel.
o Ensure all work complies with relevant GCC regulations, standards, and codes.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain daily records of project activities, materials used, and progress updates.
o Generate and submit progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
6. Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:
o Identify and address electrical installation issues promptly to avoid delays.
o Assist in troubleshooting equipment and wiring problems on site, providing
effective solutions.
Skills and Competencies:

• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, plans, and specifications. In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and construction best practices.
• Project Coordination: Strong ability to manage and coordinate material deliveries, workforce, and installation schedules.
• Problem-Solving: Quick, effective troubleshooting skills to resolve site issues as they arise.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and report to management.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in quantity take-offs, material verification, and installation supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in supervising electrical installations on large-scale construction projects in the GCC.
• Familiarity with construction site safety practices specific to the GCC region.
• Basic computer skills for project documentation and reporting.
