Site Quality Engineer

Principal Accountabilities:
- Support the supervisor to deliver the site quality docs on time and continuously.
- Follow the subcontractor quality documentation.
- Manage Site NCR communication toward customer.
- Be the reference for Quality & Excellence culture at site.
- Responsible for establishing a project quality management system (Quality Plan) in agreement with the Project Director, and Project Quality Leader, in compliance with client and customer requirements.
- Train the project team members in the use of the quality tools.
- Assist in the preparation of project specific procedures and quality deliverables.
- Responsible for site preparation (start-up), project execution and project closure.
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace are preferred) from an accredited university or college; or equivalent experience (5 year minimum in similar industries).
- Languages required – German and English.
- A Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status in Mechanical would be highly desirable
- Experience or interest in Welding, Machining, Painting is preferred.
- Experience or interest in heavy mechanical construction site is preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and or technical document is mandatory.
- Experienced, with a background in Quality and/or Engineering and/or installation Operations.
- Any candidate with Hydro Site Installation will be preferred.
- Contract duration: until 31/5/25
- Languages required: German & English
- Accommodation: Provided onsite or within 25 minute drive
- Location: Stunning mountainous region in Austria
- Rate: Negotiable plus food allowance
- Start date: ASAP
